Back to Black and White
Friday, March 11, 2011 at 01:37PM The game finally got the attention and actual effort that it had needed for a long time.
When I first heard about Pokemon Black and White I was surprised with the screenshots they had shown. Pokemon has needed a big update. This has by far been the biggest change from any previous Pokemon games. One of the greatest things that I like it how it has become more of an RPG rather than running from town to town getting pokemon. There's actually a story, and the interactions that you have with the people in the town and the other two people who get the starter pokemon that you did not get are amazing. The story is that you and your two friends all get a starter pokemon, throughout the game you'll see your two friends in each of the towns you pass through and often help them with whatever may be going on. There are many more people in each town to talk to and it the game has an overall detailed feel to it.
Some of the biggest changes are the camera angle during battle and in the game in general. There's more detail in everything from buildings to grass and even the water. One of the things I was most happy about was that they changed the low health sound when you're in battle. I would often turn my sound off because of that annoying beeping, but they've make it much more tolerable now. here's a clip I recorded myself
